Foam Panel EIFS Walls
ARC in San Francisco installs, repairs and seals EIFS panels and walls: Exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS) is a general class of non-load bearing building cladding systems that provides exterior walls with an insulated, water-resistant, finished surface in an integrated composite material system. The above photo shows a repair crew working on an EIFS wall.
Bay Area Wall Repairs
ARC’s EIFS work often consists of removing damaged panels to replace as necessary at wall areas. Subsurface and wall panel edges are ground down, and a waterproof membrane applied below cement panels to waterproof the wall. Walls are water tested to ensure a tight seal and custom foam fabricated around inside corners and recessed areas around each window. Dryvit (a type of synthetic stucco that is applied as a final coat to keep water from penetrating the other layers of the wall) is installed around the window openings. The repair areas are then primed and painted to match the existing walls.
